Three Fatal Flaws
Pro Life? Are you satisfied with the Republican party?
Pro Choice? Are you satisfied with the Democratic party?
Third party & independents, we know you're not satisfied.
Three flaws protect the elites by locking in two-party rule:
1. Traditional Choose 1 Plurality Voting
Voters seldom vote for third-party or independent candidates because that might help elect a major party candidate they detest. Third parties and independents are crushed because the election results do not show their true support. The two-party system is entrenched.
In a Plurality election, you can rank only one candidate as better than the others. Your voice is limited.
Plurlity voting favors extreme candidates because moderate candidates will split votes. Spoilers plague Plurality voting and Ranked Choice Voting.
Plurality voting offers no incentives for civil campaigns. It is always us against them. Each election becomes more hostile.
For these reasons, Plurality voting is among the weakest voting methods for single winner elections. Only Dictatorship and Random Choice and are worse.
BTR-Score voting is the most reliable voting method for single winner elections. It prevents vote splitting and the spoiler effect.
BTR-Score gives you a strong voice because you can rate every candidate 0 to 10. Candidates must behave to avoid low scores. Our overheated campaigns will calm down.
2. Major Party Primaries
In most states, only two or three parties can hold primary elections. The system excludes all other parties. Major party candidates receive a ton of publicity in every primary campaign. Their nominees glide onto the November ballot as the only candidates with a chance of winning.
In most districts and states the general election is nor competitive, each race is decided in the primary.
We propose Neutral Open Primaries; blanket primaries designed to be fair to all candidates. Neutral Open Primaries will offer voters real choices and more excitement. Voter turnout will increase.
3. No Proportional Representation
Your vote seldom counts if you are a Democrat in a Republican state, a Republican in a Democratic state, or a third party member in any state.
Only Proportional Representation can make every election competitive and every vote count. In a proportional race, your vote will help your party win seats. The voters decide how many seats each party gets.
Two parties cannot voice the will of American voters. Voters and politicians need more parties to choose from.
Fight Back
If we want a fair economy we need fair elections. Social conservatives and social liberals must work together on multi-party election reform and economic reform.
Conservatives believe big government is bad, liberals believe big corporations are bad. Governments and corporations share the same problem: they are large human organizations, bureaucracies, if you will. Watch your wallet whenever they get cozy. We need a better political system to keep them in line.
We need a better political system because many of us have lost faith in American democracy.
Basic Strategy
We win the primary elections of both parties with strong reform candidates.
Impossible? No. Status quo candidates will split the status quo vote. True reform will prevail. All candidates claim to support reform, but the policies of true reform will shine in the sun - and in the general election.
Do Not Give Up
Why dump democracy when we can make dramatic improvements with fair primaries, better voting methods, and Proportional Representation? Far better to MADGE - Make American Democracy Greater than Ever.
Voters and politicians will be free to join the parties of their choice. Third parties and independents will bring new ideas to our moribund system. Election campaigns will calm down.
If you are mad as hell and no longer willing to take it, please join us.
Our voices will be heard.
Voters will be in charge.
the Voters Army
We vote in the primaries of both parties.
We support economic policies that benefit working people and small business.
We support election reforms that give voters and politicians more choices.
We support candidates who represent us, not the donor class.
BTW: The billionaire coalition and their media lackeys may accuse us of inciting class warfare. Elites have been waging class warfare for eons. They really get their panties in a bunch when people fight back. They will be terrified when we revive representational democracy with new leaders and Multi Party Election Reform.
Vote for You!
If your party does not have a true reform candidate for an office in your district, please consider running for that office.
