The “For Our Freedom” constitutional amendment will undo the damage and allow reasonable campaign finance laws to be enacted in America. These laws could eliminate the need for candidates to ask the powers that be for contributions. I think you would find that liberating.

Colorado Specific:

Two Supreme Court decisions, Buckley vs Valeo and Citizens United vs the FEC, enabled the rich and powerful to buy our elections. It is time to fight back.

In response, Colorado voters passed amendment 65 in 2012 with 76% in favor and only 26% opposed. It instructed “Colorado's congressional delegation to propose and support, and the members of Colorado's state legislature to ratify, an amendment to the United States constitution that allows congress and the states to limit campaign contributions and spending.”

You now have an opportunity to fulfill the voters’ request.
